Black Mountain Off-Road Kentucky "Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Park KY" as they call it is another great place to ATV Trail ride. Every time I find a place I think is the best I go down the road to find another great park..... That is what happen here. I had never heard of this place and while staying over at Hatfield McCoy ATV Trails another rider told me about it..... Being so close I had to stop by and check it out. I ended up staying a week and had a great time. This ATV park reminds me of riding out west with the big rocky and some steep open trails..... Very Cool ! The park offers opportunity for ATV's, Dirt Bikes, Dune and Rail Buggies, Jeeps and more. This is one of those places that has the charm of rural south Kentucky that is so nice. The trails are really awesome too. What more could one ask for. I highly recommend the off-road park and the campground that I stayed at.... Right at the trail head, hard to get more convenient than that. This is one of the top rated riding sites in North America.

Harlan County Campground Harlan County Campground is another awesome place to stay right at the mouth of the ATV trailhead. This place rocks, with giant sites and full hook-ups, at prices from yesteryear.... Unreal it was like twenty something a night to stay with cheaper rates for a week, for which I stayed. The fine folks that operate this place are tops in my book.... As nice and accommodating as it gets.... They even have a little shop with compressed air and welding torches you can use. The had the best Wi-Fi with very high speed service. In fact the Wi-Fi was as good anywhere I have ever stayed.... Dish TV reception and cell phone service. I plan on visiting here again this Winter KY.
